Interfaces

Interfaces was a 501c3 nonprorfit that worked to nurture and amplify marginalized artists. The organization hosted open mics, artist showcases, produced educational learning opportunities, and hosted artist residencies.

During my time at Interfaces, my role was creative director. In this role, I rebranded the organization, developed a micro campaign called “No Shortcuts To Freedom”, developed the website, shot and edited videos for social media and the archive, and designed and formatted Interfaces first zine.

I developed the processes for capturing, editing, and exporting our booked artist showcases and reading series for YouTube.

During the pandemic, we pivoted from in-person showcases to online. We were able to continue engaging our creative community and offer opportunities for open mics.
